The reissue of the 1996 album of the same name in the United States. Its initial release contains six tracks from their first international album, Backstreet Boys and five tracks from Backstreet's Back. Released a day after Backstreet's Back, both albums share nearly the same cover but with different titles. The album served as their debut in the United States, where their previous records were not released.

First Christmas song. The song was written by Veit Renn, Joe Smith, and Johnny Wright. "Christmas Time" was included on the Christmas edition of "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" single and on a bonus disc included in some editions of Backstreet's Back album. The song was also featured on Platinum Christmas, a compilation album released by Jive Records in 2000, as well as many other Christmas compilation albums through the years.

the fourth single from their international debut album. It reached No. 1 in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Switzerland, No. 2 in the United Kingdom, and No. 7 in the Netherlands. The song was later included on the band's debut US album and was released as its second single in April 1997, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that September, making it their highest-charting single on the chart. It sold 2 million copies in the US.[3] The music video for the song was directed by Kai Sehr and filmed in Florida. In 2020, Rolling Stone ranked "Quit Playing Games (with My Heart)" at No. 26 in their list of the "75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time".
